More than just a dog walk…

Barks & Recreation is a dog walking social enterprise that provides support to adults who have a learning disability to walk dogs.

Since 2015 our small, dedicated team has been walking dogs in the Preston & Penwortham area while creating opportunities for people to take part in meaningful outdoor activity, improving physical health, developing routine and building social connection.

Local dog owners are invited to support the programme so their dogs can enjoy regular walks while helping create purposeful and rewarding sessions for the people we support.
