In late 2016 we will open Barks & Recreation, a dog care service providing people who have a learning disability, autism or acquired brain injury the opportunity to develop skills and work experience in a dog care setting.
Initially the service will open for dogs with a grooming salon, boarding in a 'home from home' residential setting and eventually a dog walking service.
A short while after opening we will be contacting everybody that has expressed an interest in our learning disability service. Anyone who wishes to attend will be able to assist with dog grooming, walk the dogs and spend time playing or relaxing with the dogs. They will also be able to take informal and formal qualifications and training in animal care.
If you're interested in our services please do not hesitate to get in touch via the contact page. We have received a large number of emails from people interested in using the service and places are extremely limited to ensure the safety of the dogs and the people attending the service.
